The “EOTO” in EOTO World stands for “Each One Teach One”. At EOTO World, we view “EOTO” as a lifestyle philosophy of how to create solidarity, foster understanding and shared learning. Neither Human rights nor a culture of peace become a common reality without informed sharing, each one to an other.
Our all-volunteer organization engages volunteers from staff roles to internships and project volunteers. Professionals, students, older adults, young adults and even teenagers have provided their services as the backbone to the reach of our work. Our work has served thousands online and offline too.
The United Nations estimate of global youth ages 10-24 totals 1.8 billion (World Youth Report, 2005), higher if the age range is increased to 35. We focus our capacity building services toward youth activists from 18-35 interested in ending poverty and building peace.
Global focus supporting local results. EOTO World has engaged activists, partners, volunteers and the general public with community outreach, skill building, consulting, facilitated dialogue and advocacy that beneficiaries have rated as significant. We are proud 3-time recipients of a Top-Rated Award.
